How to Clean Mud from Carpet

As carpets are the most important part of our house and they look beautiful as well as they enhances the beauty of the house and need to be properly cleaned as well as continue to appear good and clean. You need to protect it from the mud as muddy shoes walk into the carpet.

Following is the procedure of how to clean mud from carpet.


Procedure:


Material Required:

•    A spatula
    Baking soda
•    Salt
•    A vacuum
•    Dish liquid
    Water
    A cloth
•    White vinegar
    Denatured alcohol
    Isopropyl alcohol

 

Stages to clean mud from carpet:

 

1.    Larger clumps and masses of the mud are scooped off with the help of a spatula.
 

2.    Salt or baking soda is poured down on the remaining’s of the wet mud. Salt needs to be left there for numerous hours as the moisture is absorbed from the wet mud. A vacuum hose is used when the mud is dried and it is in order to remove the mud as well as the salt.
 

3.    1/4 tablespoon of dish liquid is mixed in the half cup of warm water and you need to stir it in order to form suds and bubbles. A cloth is used, so that the solution is bolted on the stain. Any of the remaining or the excess is rinsed off from the dish liquid with the help of plain water in order to blot that area.
 

4.    In case, if the stain or the mark is not removed with the help of dish liquid and water,  dish liquid and white vinegar can also be used as a substitute. A bowl is taken and a half cup of white vinegar is poured down into the bowl and one tablespoon of dish liquid is also added into the bowl and a fork or an egg beater is used in order to whip all the ingredients. A scrub brush is dipped into the prepared mixture or solution, now, the scrub brush is pressed on the stain and then, the handle of the brush is gently wiggled in order to scrub the mark or the stain. In order to rinse, water is used in order to sponge that area.
 

5.    And for the stubborn marks and stains, isopropyl alcohol or denatured alcohol is used. First of all, spot test the hidden area in order to check any of the adverse reaction. The alcohol is blot down on the stain, if you find that it is safe, then, in order to rinse use water to sponge it.
 

6.    When the mark or the stain is removed, a dry towel is used to eradicate the moisture and it is also used to blot that area.
