You can use a lot of non-poisonous and non-toxic products for the purpose of household cleaning. Baking soda is one of the most useful and operative household products next to the vinegar. Baking soda is also known as bicarbonate of soda. It is basically made of sodium carbonate or with the soda ash. The main feature of baking soda is that, it is non-toxic and non-poisonous. Your stainless steel sink can shine and sparkle by scattering the baking soda on the stainless steel sink. Then, scrub it down with the help of a wet sponge.

Your refrigerator can smell fresh after you clean it. Therefore, you need to put an open container or an open bowl or an open box filled with baking soda in the refrigerator.

Homemade Air Freshener Spray   

You need to take 1/8 cup of baking soda plus 1/2 cup of lemon juice and mix it with two cups of hot water. Shake it well so that it can dissolve properly. Then, spray it in the air as an air freshener spray.

Stained Enamel Cookware

In order to clean the stained enamel cookware you need to make a paste by mixing baking soda in water. Then, this paste is applied on the stains and allows it to sit for around an hour. Now, fill the cookware with the water by leaving the prepared paste inside it. The mixture is dissolved by stirring it with the help of a wooden spoon and places it on the burner stove to boil. Allow it to boil for around 15 to 20 minutes. Then, at the end wash it properly.

Water stains can be removed from the wood surfaces by preparing a paste. For this you need to mix some drops of water in the baking soda. Apply the paste on the wood stains, rub it and then, wipe it off.

Baking soda is scattered on the oven’s bottom part. Baking soda is damped by spraying water on it. Allow it to sit for the whole night. Baking soda is scrubbed and scooped in the morning. A sponge is used to remove the grime and dirt or even you can vacuum and then, rinse it.
